Empowerment
In a community where 34% of girls face early marriage and 26% of women are illiterate, economic independence remains a distant dream. Through our tailoring and arts programs, we offer single mothers a path toward dignity and self-reliance. In partnership with Mahaba Foundation, our sewing centre trains single mothers to become skilled tailors and job creators, turning vulnerability into opportunity.
Our programs focus on practical vocational training that allows women to support their families with dignity.
Tailoring Program: Training single mothers to become skilled tailors and job creators.
Artisan Enterprise: Producing jewellery, baskets, and mats using local "bitengi" fabric and palm leaves.
Global Reach: Artisan products are sold in the USA and Brazil, with profits shared among the artisans.
We currently have 6 sewing machines and aim to reach 25 to accommodate more trainees. Your support provides the tools for economic freedom and self-worth.
